Appointment Policies

As of July 1st, 2023, Regular Joe's Detailing will require a non-refundable deposit in order to be booked on the calendar.

Kindly be aware that when you schedule an appointment with me, it signifies that I have set aside dedicated time in my schedule solely for your benefit. Unfortunately, I have experienced a significant surge in spontaneous no-shows and cancellations in recent weeks.

The deposit is 20% of the total cost of the service, or for coating jobs, the price of materials ordered, at time of booking. It's important to note that these deposits are non-refundable. In the event that you need to cancel, your deposit will be forfeited.

Is the deposit an extra charge?

No, the deposit amount will go towards the total amount of your detail. The remaining 80% of the service cost will be due on time of completion and pickup.

What if there's ugly weather, or something comes up?

In the event there is particulary bad weather (heavy snow, ice, a hurricane?), and I am unable to perform the services, I will reschedule you at the earliest available time. If I am unable to reschedule you, the deposit will be refunded. The same is true if I am unable to make it for other/personal reasons.

Interior Appointments

  • Remove Personal Belongings: Please clear your vehicle of all personal items, such as clothing, electronics, and important documents. While we strive to safeguard your belongings, we cannot be held responsible for any losses or damages.

 

  • Large Trash Removal: Dispose of large trash items prior to your appointment. While we will handle the finer aspects of cleaning, we ask that you remove any large trash to facilitate a thorough detailing.

Appointment Scheduling and Timing

  • Punctuality:  We kindly request that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. We offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled, and you will forfeit your original deposit. To reschedule, a new deposit will be required.

 

  • Rescheduling/Cancellation: We request a courtesy notice of at least 24 hours if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This helps us manage our schedule and offer your slot to other customers. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable, regardless of notice given.

Inspections and Pre Existing Damage

Please inform us of any pre-existing damage or concerns with your vehicle prior to the service.
We encourage you to inspect your vehicle after the detailing is complete. If there are any concerns, please let us know immediately.

Payments, Estimates, and Surcharges

  • A deposit of 20% will be required to be booked on the calendar. This deposit is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or no show of the client.
  • A secure link to pay the deposit will be sent through text message. If you wish the link to be sent through email, you may request to do so.
  • Time slots will be held for 24 hours pending deposit payment. If the deposit is not received within this timeframe, the slot may become available to other clients. Please note that availability cannot be guaranteed if the deposit is delayed.
  • Pricing is based on the condition of the vehicle. All pricing for various conditions is listed. Before service, surcharges may be applied depending on the vehicle condition. Pricing of these surcharges is displayed on the online portal.
  • Payment is due upon completion and pickup of the vehicle. We accept cash, credit/debit, and digital payments sent via email or text.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • We encourage you to inspect your vehicle thoroughly after the detailing is complete. If you have any concerns or are not completely satisfied with the service, please inform us immediately at the time of pickup. Additionally, we understand that some issues might only become apparent later. Therefore, we invite you to report any missed spots or concerns within two weeks following your service. We are committed to addressing and resolving any issues within the scope of the service provided to ensure your satisfaction.
  • Joe is available as a resource for any and all car care needs. If you have questions about how to best maintain your car, or handle a particular situation, please feel free to reach out. Text or email is preferred for these situations.

Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal data collected during the booking process, such as your name, contact details, and vehicle information, is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your service requests and communicating with you about your appointments. We do not share your information with any third parties without your consent, except as necessary to provide the service or comply with the law. Your information is stored securely and is accessible only by authorized personnel.

Hazardous vehicles

  • While Joe and his team can handle just about any job, there are some jobs that are too hazardous for health and operations. This includes but is not limited to: bug infestations or excessive dead bugs, abandoned vehicles, interior motor oil spills, current rodent infestations (cleanup okay, just no live or dead creatures), fire or flood damage (water leaks okay), particularly strong odors such as decay or death, gasoline or solvents, etc
